To secure a fence, a post is necessary; usually these are crafted from wood and stand at five feet in height to support approximately eight feet of fencing. For  t fence post , you can use two posts side-by-side or a single post which is partially embedded into the earth.

To erect a standard fence, you need to fit three posts, one in the centre and the other two either side of it. Giving the fence a length of more than eight feet requires additional posts, placed at even intervals along its length.

Afterwards, take the post and place it carefully within the recess, and begin to fill it in with soil, pressing it firmly into the earth. Add dirt in substantial amounts until it is completely filled.

Surrounding the bottom of a wooden post with concrete will guard against deterioration, thus prolonging its lifespan.

When the cement has set, you can encase the area with fence panels.
